Gutter Installation — What We Do
Montgomery averages more than fifty inches of rain a year, and a lot of it arrives in an hour. Gutters here have to be sized and pitched for volume, not just hung straight. That is where most new installations go wrong, and it is the part the Montgomery Gutter Service team works out before anything goes up.

Measure and size
We measure the roof planes feeding each run and size the gutter and downspouts to handle a real Alabama downpour, not an average day.
Tear off and inspect
Old gutter comes down and the fascia gets a close look. Anything soft or rotted is dealt with before new metal goes up.
Hang and pitch
Hangers go in on roughly two-foot centers into sound wood, with a consistent fall toward each downspout.
Water test and clean-up
The finished system gets flooded and watched. Old gutter, nails and off-cuts leave with us.
Gutter Installation — Frequently Asked Questions
Most Montgomery homes are fine with 5-inch K-style. Steep roofs, large single roof planes and homes with only one or two downspouts often need 6-inch trough and 3x4 downspouts to keep up. We size it from your actual roof, not a rule of thumb.
A typical single-family home is a one-day job. Larger homes, two-story runs and fascia repair can push it into a second day.
Aluminum gutter comes in a wide standard color range, and we bring samples to the estimate so you can hold them against your trim and roof in daylight.
